And now we are 3

SHE'S HERE!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!
Our baby girl arrived Monday, August 20th at 3:30pm. Her name is Sochi (rhymes with mochi, mochi ball) Jacinta. She was 7lbs 1 oz.

In Nahuatl (the language of the Aztecs) Xochitl, means flower. We chose to spell her name Sochi because it uses a combination of the letters of our names: Sophia + Nacho. I think we named her even before we were pregnant.

Her middle name Jacinta was my maternal grandpa's name, Jacinto. It means hyacinth in Spanish. Another floral name. He was very special to me.

I'm in love all over again. With life, with her, with my boyfriend. He is the best partner anyone could have ever asked for to raise a family with. And she looks like him! Same eyes. Dora says she has my "wig" and nose. And both of us have big cheeks. I can't believe it was her who was in my stomach this entire time. I told one of the nurses when I was in labor, "I've been pregnant since Christmas."

I don't know if you guys want to know all about her birth story so I will leave the post like this. I just wanted to make her debut and let everyone know we are doing well.

As a result of my absence, I have extended the ending date of my give-away until August 30th. So go enter, all you have to do is leave a comment on my previous post. It's free stuff! I will be hosting another one in September, Aveeno baby product edition.

Much love from California,
Sophia, Nacho, and baby Sochi

Aveeno/Johnson & Johnson Give-away/Review #LLBLOG #ETYY

Johnson & Johnson is one of those grandfather brands that one uses practically from birth, so when I found out I was selected as a brand partner for their campaign "Entre Tu y Yo" (between you and me), I was pretty pumped.

As part of the campaign I will be hosting a give-away every month. Free goodies for you! And these are actually products you can put to great use. I already have. Here is my review of some of the products I received. You will be receiving these and more. A $100 dollar value. yay yerrrr.

Aveeno Daily Moisturizing lotion- My skin loves this and so do I. It is fragrance free so it won't give you a sneezing attack like that B*th *nd B*dy w*rks ish you got in your stocking last Xmas. It moisturizes for 24 hrs. I put it on my voluptuous pregnant body after the shower and I'm good to go.

Aveeno Positively Radiant Daily Moisturizer with SPF 30- A great daily moisturizer with sun protection. Compact size, easy to pack on vacation (if you get those). I use it and so does my baby daddy. A+

Aveeno Active Naturals Shampoo and Conditioner- I want to sniff these all day long. I'm very picky about what I wash my wig hair with and these pass the test. Shampoo is moisturizing and leaves my locks feeling even more luscious.  Must be the oat protein. I let my baby daddy use these too, usually he doesn't get to share shampoo with me but I want him to experience my happy hair experience. true love.

Band Aid Plastic Strips- Ok, if you are a serious crafter/DIYer like me, chances are you go through these bad boys pretty quick. Between studding shorts, dangerous jump rings, wearing Jeffrey Campbells, and playing with knives, I'm always getting cut. I like to have these in my purse at all times. Then I can be that life saver person who says "I do" when someone asks for a Band Aid. When it comes to cuts, don't play around. Buy the good stuff that is going to stay on your skin even after you wash your hands.

Ok my furry friends, Give-away is open until August 30th. To enter you must leave a comment below and be a follower of my blog.

Extra entry if you tweet about the giveaway to my handle @lasophiaful and use hashtags #LLBLOG and #ETYY
